Hey y’all! The weather this week has been suffocating! We count ourselves lucky if the temperature drops below 95 and we’re praying for some relief! If there’s anything we’ve learned from being raised in the South it’s that there’s no beating the heat. So on days where it’s so hot you can barely breathe we opt for thin, flowy fabrics and the less material we have to put on the better. One style that screams summer in our opinion is anything bohemian and quite frankly these pieces have been saving our lives.
Living in the South means an abundance of open fields, the perfect backdrop for any boho-inspired look. This field in particular was very well hidden, almost to the point of being sketchy (but as we always say “do it for the blog”). After scoping out the area for snakes, our risks were rewarded with a little bit of sunshine and the perfect scenery.

We originally picked out Anna’s tie dye romper to be featured in our Fourth of July blog post, but after forgetting to pack it we had to move on to plan B. We then decided it would be perfect to feature in this post. Chelsea’s kimono has been a staple in her closet since about two years ago and its the ultimate addition to any boho-inspired wardrobe. Free People no longer carries this particular kimono but because they are such a huge trend there are plenty of similar styles to choose from. Like we said before, we love putting together boho-inspired outfits that help us survive the South Carolina weather. We hope y’all love these outfits as much as we do! Let us know in the comments what your go- to summer outfit is!
Until next time,
