We feel like we say this every week, but damn has it been a busy one. With Anna starting a new job AND a new semester of school (not to mention hella car trouble), and Chelsea planning and packing for her mini birthday trip to Atlanta this weekend (future blog post), things have been a little crazy. We have been really struggling trying to fit everything in to the little free time we have had this week. So we kept it low key and decided to share with y’all this cute “fall transition” outfit that we’ve been wanting to do for a while (but its just been WAY too hot to even look at a sweater). This outfit is perfect for transitioning into fall in SC and we hope y’all love it as much as we do!
In South Carolina, I think one thing we look forward to the most is the Fall. Fall saves us from the heat/humidity and lets us wear some of the cutest pieces from our wardrobes (not to mention our hair can finally breath again and not look like one big frizz). The first day of the year that we can throw on a sweater and not pass out is literally the best! We are obsessing over this simple Free People sweater that pairs perfectly with just about anything! And shorts are a must for the early fall days in SC because its still so hot (*eye roll*) but this outfit can easily be recreated with jeans when it finally cools off enough to pull those out of your closet. These cut-off shorts are from American Eagle and are seriously the most comfortable shorts ever, definitely a must have!! And we can’t forget to mention these super cute Lucky Brand ankle booties (that we both have in multiple colors)! They are a staple for any fall wardrobe because they pair so well with just about everything!
