Finally Fall

Happy First Day of Fall!!!!

Lord, I am so excited!!! Fall is literally my favorite time of year (even though, like I said last time, Fall doesn’t really start in SC for another month or two but I’ll still be pretending). I mean what’s not to like, Halloween, new seasons of my fav tv shows, cozy sweaters, PSL (I mean I’m not really into them, but I hear people really like it so there’s that), and so many more great things!! My personal favorite are fall scented candles. If you’ve never smelled Leaves or Flannel from Bath & Body Works then you’ve never lived. OMG seriously they are the best smells ever! Next let’s talk about Halloween. It’s pretty much my favorite holiday ever (maybe even more than my birthday… well maybe, I’m not sure, I’ll have to think about that). I love the idea of dressing up in a DIY costume and showing off your creativity (I already know what Jared and I are going to be this year and I’m SO excited). So I’ll just be over here casually counting down the days until Halloween (39 Days!!)

Anyways, let’s get to the real reason y’all are here. FALL FASHION!!! If there is anything we can all agree on it is that Fall has the best selection of clothes. Jeans, sweaters, scarves, boots, shall I go on? I mean just the sweaters alone are worth it. Who doesn’t love a good sweater? It’s cozy and cute all wrapped up in one. I’ve personally been really into mock neck/turtle neck sweaters lately (like these ones from Free People, Anthropologie, and Nordstrom) as well as embellished sleeves (like these ones from Shein, J Crew, and Shein). I’m just so obsessed with sweaters I could go on for days with ones that I’m obsessed with right now, but instead of that I’ll give you the deets on one of my favorites from my personal closet, this cute olive green one from Free People!

So this sweater is amazing BTW, Anna and I both own it! She got hers sometime last year and I was so obsessed with it I just had to get one too (why not? we already have identical wardrobes). I love the cute cold shoulder detail (I’m all about details on sweaters right now if you can’t already tell). Plus green is my favorite color so that’s probably another reason I’m so in love with it. Now these white skinnies are another story. Every Spring/Summer I search high and low for the perfect pair of white pants and this year I finally found them at Old Navy. I originally got a pair that wasn’t distressed but ended up going back for this pair that is as well. I absolutely love how they fit! Lastly, y’all already know all about these Steve Madden wedges (constantly on repeat). They are my favorite wedges ever (EVER!!!!!!). So comfortable and they go with everything.
