First of all, tell me this isn’t the most perfect dress for Cinco De Mayo. Secondly, don’t judge me for wanting to celebrate Cinco De Mayo, I really love any reason to drink margs (just like I use St. Pat’s as a reason to drink green beer)!
Okay so I am sure you have seen this dress before but it is just too perfect not to show off. I have literally been pinning over this dress since last August when I almost bought it as my “birthday dress”. Then I almost bought it again a few months ago when I saw it went on sale. But for some reason I kept finding a reason not to pull the trigger, that is until I was browsing through TJ Maxx a couple of weeks ago and literally about peed myself in excitement when I saw this cutie just sitting on the rack practically begging me to buy it. So naturally I had to! Fast forward to now, over two weeks later, when I am FINALLY getting to break her out of my closet because the weather in South Carolina is so typical with it’s unpredictability. It has literally been cold or rainy or both almost every day that I have had this dress. But the wait is finally over and I finally get to wear her an I am so excited because this is seriously the most perfect dress (I know I said that a couple weeks ago about my yellow OTS Old Navy dress, but this is different). I think I am in love. I now know why every blogger I follow was so willing to pay the $150 for this dress! Now let’s break out those margaritas and start pregaming for Cinco De Mayo!!!!
Moral of the story is, sometimes waiting for things you really want works out (but I wouldn’t suggest this for everything. I might have just gotten REALLY lucky).
