Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation & Concealer Creme Review

Hey Y’all! So fun fact: I am part of this awesome program called Influenster that sends bloggers like myself products to test out/review. I love this program because it not only helps me learn about new products, but it helps me help y’all learn about these products too!

So a couple of weeks ago Influenster sent me the best box I have gotten yet! I received the Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation and Concealer Creme. I was already a huge fan of Kat Von D products and although I have tried her concealer before I have never tried her foundation so I was super excited to do so! On Kat Von D’s website this product is described as a “high-pigment, medium to full coverage foundation with extreme long wear”. I often don’t pick up full coverage foundations because I don’t like the way the ones I have tried in the past wear on my skin. I don’t like when you can tell I am wearing foundation from far away and most full coverage foundations I have tried made my skin look super cakey and textured. This foundation however is amazing, It made my skin look flawless and not cakey in the slightest! It even looked great around my t-zone (which is my problem area). I was only able to test this out for a few hours so I would like to probably test the longevity of it since it claims to be long lasting. I might will test it out again this weekend and see what happens when I wear it all day!

I had the same reaction to the Lock-It concealer creme! It did exactly what it said it would and hid both the dark circles underneath my eyes and the redness of my cheeks. Plus I have a few blemishes that popped up out of nowhere and it covered them up beautifully! My only complaint about this product is that the concealer dries a little quicker that I would like but that is easy to work around simply by applying and then blending one spot at a time!

I would 10/10 purchase both of these products when I run out and highly recommend them if you are looking for a new full coverage foundation/concealer combo!

PS, Influenster managed to somehow send me the perfect shades for my skin tones. I don’t know how they did this but I am super impressed. These are the shades I used below!
