I just want to be the first one to say I have been sucking at blogging lately and for that I am sorry. I honestly have no excuse other than I’ve been a little lazy, but I’m working on it! Because the weather has been so sucky lately and not at all what October/Fall should feel like, I have been very ehh when it comes to putting together cute outfits. All I want is to wear sweaters and ankle boots and cozy up on the couch with a oversized sweatshirt and a fleece blanket (that got too specific, sorry). But because we live in the South and because the weather is only just now cooling down (therefore the leaves aren’t changing colors just yet), so Jared and I took a mini road trip to put us in the Fall spirit. To be honest we didn’t get very far, nor did we find any changing leaves. But we did find a pumpkin patch/corn maze with the cutest vintage truck outside, so that was good enough!
So like I said before, my eagerness to buy all the cute sweaters is killing me. I have recently been searching high and low for light weight sweaters that will be perfect for transitioning out of my Summer wardrobe and into the Fall outfits I am so ready to be wearing. And let me tell you, I think I might have found my new favorite piece in my closet! I showed off this cute sweater last week in my Tuesday Try-Ons post but figured it needed it’s own post since it is the perfect sweater. Old Navy is having a pretty big sale right now so I used this as the perfect excuse to look for new sweaters (amongst other things). This one in particular is oversized which is my favorite quality in a sweater which makes it super cozy. Just a heads up, grey is my personal go to but this sweater comes in three other colors!
