Overalls, The One Thing I Swore I Would Never Wear

Okay so the title to this post pretty much says it all. I have NEVER been a fan of overalls in the slightest. It’s not that I think they are ugly or anything, it’s just that I personally can never style them right. And honestly I don’t care how trendy or cute something is on other people, if I don’t like it on me, I’m not gonna wear it.

Or so I thought.

I don’t know if they just grew on me, or I just was secretly so desperate to make them work, but I bought a pair last Summer and simply folded them up and put them away in the depths of my closet. Out of sight, out of mind (but altleast I had a pair just in case, you know, for emergencies). The other day I was in a mood. I get in these from time to time where I’m just not feeling anything in my closet and need a little change. But I knew my husband would kill me if I went shopping so I had to get creative. I think I might have tried on like five or six outfits before coming across my brand new (year old) overalls and though what the heck lets give them a try. Now it took some coaxing and multiple shirts to get me to feel myself in them, but here we are, and I am kinda digging it. Now that I’m living for the overalls, don’t be surprised if you see them pop up on Insta a few more times in the near future?!
