Hey Babes! Okay so I was sent these Becca Cosmetic Ultimate Lipstick Love lipsticks recently and was super excited to receive them. I have used quite a few Becca products in the past, my favorite being their highlighters, and usually love them all. This one was no different. The two shades I received are Ember (a warm, deep red) and Mocha (a neutral pinky beige). I have a soft spot for lipsticks, even after I hopped on the liquid lipstick train, I was still regularly using a my lipsticks. Usually I lean towards the nudes for everyday wear but I will pick up a pink of red from time to time. Honestly there isn’t much I love more than a good red lipstick because liquid reds tend to stain your lips, half your face, a strand of your hair, and the back of your left leg every time you try and take it off.
The two colors I got ended up being perfect and not too similar to any other colors I have (because I will be the first to admit I own way too many lippies) and although I think I am going to get a lot of use out of this nude, I think the red will come in handy too.
Now lets talk formula. I usually like more of a matte finish on my lipsticks. ColourPop lippie stix are one of my absolute favorite lipstick formulas (and are super affordable too). This formula however is more of a satin finish which is totally fine because it is super creamy and applies really well. I am currently contemplating purchasing another color or two (I have my eye on Flame right now).
